Guggul Complex

Forskolin
Forskolin extract is manufactured from the roots of the Coleus Forskohlii plant. Traditionally, forskolin is used as a spice or condiment in Eastern India cuisine. During the past few years, the plant has received a great deal of interest among the scientific community, thanks to its effects as a thermogenic agent. The preliminary research suggests that forskolin can increase the rate of fat oxidised by the body, while simultaneously helping to maintain or increase muscle tissue. Coleus Forskohli extract is backed by a US Patent (# 5,804,596). Forskolin is becoming a key nutrient in correcting slow metabolisms.

A recent study in which six obese women were given forskolin two times per day for 8-weeks, reported that the subjects consuming the nutrient displayed a mean weight loss of 10 lbs. Furthermore, test results were achieved without making modifications to normal diet and exercise, and forskolin did not alter heart rate or blood pressure (unlike many stimulant-based supplements).

Respected sports supplement research, Dr R.Kreider has also performed some interesting forskolin research. Kreider suggests that the nutrient increases satiety after a meal, meaning you'll stay fuller for longer without adapting your eating habits. Furthermore, Kreider noted the nutrient prevents the loss of muscle mass normally associated with dieting (and therefore keeps your metabolism high).

Grapefruit Naringin Extract
Grapefruits have long been associated with weight loss, and research suggests that the active ingredient in the fruit is naringin. Naringin is recognised as a powerful method of increasing the bio-chemical action of nutrients in the body (which is why it should not be taken by individuals taking many medications). Essentially, consuming Naringin in combination with metabolic agents such as Forskolin or Guggulsterones, increases the amount of time the nutrients remain active in the body and thus may significantly increase their effects on metabolism and fat loss. Many research studies have demonstrated the ability of Naringin to increase blood levels of nutrients [4]

Bioperine (Black pepper extract)
Bioperine® is a standardized piperine extract and is commonly contained in high quality nutritional supplements. Bioperine enhances the assimilation of nutrients, ensuring you receive the full metabolic effects of active ingredients [5].

Iodine (from Kelp)
Iodine deficiency has been linked to thyroid suppression by several researchers. The trace mineral is found in high concentrations in the gland, and correspondingly plays a critical role in maintaining metabolic function [1].

How do I use it?

Consume 3 caps per day, consuming 1 capsule with each meal.

What results can I expect

Average users of Guggul Complex will experience a renewed capacity to lose fat. Although Guggul Complex may aid weight loss without making changes to your lifestyle, its effects will be much more significant when combined with a sensible diet and exercise plan. Expect to lose 2-3 lbs every 5-7 days.
